RN Supervisor
Stamford Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. As a RN Supervisor at Stamford Care Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional resident care and leading a team of dedicated nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on assigned units and monitor ongoing evaluation of staff performance and activities to achieve optimal resident care
- Ensure new admissions, discharges, and transfers are accurately entered into Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner
- Daily monitoring of the electronic medical dashboard, including alerts, incomplete UDAs, and immunization entries
- Conduct rounds of all residents to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement
- Complete MDS as required for all new admissions and review resident/patient accident/incident reports, initiating investigations of unknown origin
- Submit accident/incident reports and completed investigations to the ADNS within 48 hours of occurrence
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) and a Connecticut Licensed RN
- Ability to work weekends (7A-7P) and/or on-call rotation every 3 weeks, with flexibility to work variable shift times
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care
