Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Case Manager
Location: Santa Monica, Apple Valley, Eureka, Mission Hills, Torrance, Santa Rosa, Mission Vejo, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 Days)
Pay Rate: $2,800 Weekly Gross
Requirements
- Active California RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care Hospital Inpatient Case Management experience.
- Current experience within the last 6 months required.
- Strong knowledge of InterQual Criteria and Epic EMR (required).
- Previous travel assignment experience required; seasoned travelers preferred.
- Experience with Care Coordination, Admission Reviews, Utilization Review, and Discharge Planning.
- Experience working with HMOs, IPAs, and insurance authorization processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive case management and care coordination for hospitalized patients.
- Conduct admission reviews utilizing InterQual criteria.
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Assess patient needs and arrange appropriate post-acute services and DME.
- Manage benefits eligibility, prior authorizations, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social services, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR.

- Caseload: Approximately 20–22 patients
- Patient Ratio: 1:20
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
