Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Upholster/Trimmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously trimming, repairing, and reupholstering automotive and fabric-based products to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Duties
- Precisely trim fabric, leather, and other materials using manual cutting tools in accordance with blueprint specifications and design requirements
- Reupholster automotive seats by removing old fabric, repairing internal structures, and applying new upholstery techniques
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, sewing machines, and sewing techniques to assemble and repair upholstery components
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute manufacturing or restoration tasks
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving vehicle seats or materials during the upholstery process
- Maintain quality control by inspecting finished work for attention to detail and adherence to specifications
- Conduct repairs on upholstery materials, including fabric materials and leather, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal
Qualifications
- Proven experience in upholstery, reupholstering, or vehicle manufacturing with a strong understanding of upholstery techniques
- Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and the safe use of power tools such as pneumatic tools and sewing machines
- Knowledge of fabric materials, leatherwork, woodworking, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints
- Attention to detail with a focus on precision in cutting, sewing, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with repairing upholstery maintenance issues and using manual cutting tools effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong manual dexterity combined with good physical stamina for manual handling tasks

Work week is Monday - Friday 9-4:30 pay day is every Friday. Paid 30 min lunch.
