Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices or orders other records.

Proper operation of equipment to meet safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to lift trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper areas. Operation of stretch wrap machine and banders.

Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.

Occasionally required to make pick-ups from suppliers and deliver parts and raw materials using the company vehicle.

Maintains shipping and supplies inventory. Forwards requisitions for supplies to the department supervisor as needed.
Receiving incoming products and materials:

Confirm certificate of conformance and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation.

Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

Receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit (RMA).

Notifies end user of delivery of incoming parts.

To support computer entries must ensure each receipt has documentation (packing slip, etc.)

Complete daily entries in the computer system.

Distribute receivers to purchasing office for filling.

Maintains raw material and critical supply inventories.

Requires maintenance and cleaning of inventory area., inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting n reporting, monthly inventory accounting.
Sending outbound shipments:

Prepares sequentially numbered paperwork in SAP system.

Manages packaging material inventory, packaging of products to be shipped and arranges transportation services.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

One year in manufacturing environment
