RETAIL STORE COORDINATOR
Immediate retail store coordinator available with our medical scrubs, uniforms, and chef apparel store. The company is engaged in significant growth and seeks a qualified individual to join our team.

This coordinator shall work directly with individual customers as well as be an integral part of the inventory control and receiving process of the organization. Store hours vary by location - but generally are: Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-6:00 pm and Friday 10:00 am-5:00 pm. The position will fill his/her schedule within these hours of operation - rotating working the 6:00 pm close shift as a standard schedule. Limited out of town daytime travel may be required for trade shows or other on-site events.
Typical duties include general store operations, personnel management and scheduling, daily and monthly sales reporting to the home office, customer assistance, setting the store, clearing the dressing rooms, cashier duties, answering the telephones, assisting customers with proper fitting or ordering needs, processing all incoming shipments, preparing inventory for shipments and show orders, and other duties as required.
The qualified applicant must have a friendly and pleasant personality and must be able to effectively assist all types of customers (primarily women) in a courteous and helpful manner. The position requires working together with a small team of associates as well as independently when necessary.
This position requires a commitment to excellence and extraordinary customer service. Candidate must be a true self-starter and team player. Attention to detail is critical. Organizational skills, professional communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential. The candidate must demonstrate positive values regarding employment - having an "old school" approach such as working hard, avoiding cell phone use and text messaging, consideration to co-workers, proper organizational skills, and attention to one's own personal appearance. Interaction with the public in a polite, caring, patient, and considerate manner is mandatory.
Attention to detail is critical in assuring accuracy in pricing, ordering, cashier duties, data entry, product check-in, and variation of product models, styles, and availability. Efficient computer skills, cash register, and general office equipment operation is required.
This position requires some heavy lifting of boxes (usually 50 pounds or less) as well as physical labor as necessary to load and unload product when preparing to trade shows, fittings, and road shows. The position requires the individual to be on his/her feet for the majority of each shift while assisting customers and performing related showroom tasks.
Compensation depends on experience (minimum $17-$21 per hour starting wage). Holiday and vacation time is accrued for each hour worked and may be used as personal time-off. No other benefits are available at this time.
