The Dispatcher in Hooksett, NH, supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our local transportation team. This position coordinates daily route coverage, communicates with drivers, monitors service needs, and helps resolve day-to-day operational issues.
The Dispatcher works closely with drivers, location leadership, maintenance, safety, customer contacts, and school district partners to support daily operations, on-time performance, customer service, and company goals.
This is a key support position within the location, helping ensure drivers have the information, direction, and communication needed to provide safe and dependable transportation.

Coordinate daily route coverage and driver assignments

Communicate route updates, delays, schedule changes, and service needs to drivers and location leadership

Monitor daily service and help resolve route, driver, vehicle, and customer-related issues in real time

Review driver sign-in, sign-out, attendance, and route-coverage information

Maintain accurate dispatch logs, route updates, records, and other operational documentation

Partner with operations leadership to support safe, reliable, and on-time service

Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, school district contacts, and internal teams

Support compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and applicable transportation requirements

Assist with location reports, projects, and additional operational needs as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer-service, or operations-support experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly when service needs change

Comfort using computers, email, telephone systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and transportation systems

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

Ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, leadership, and internal support teams

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to work the required Monday-Friday split-shift schedule

Valid driver's license may be required based on operational needs
