1. Working location: This is a fully field-based role that requires constant travel, you can be based anywhere in the United States.
2. Travel Requirement: This is a 100% hands-on, field-based role. You will be working directly on construction sites and power stations for installation, testing, and commissioning. This role requires frequent travel across the US. If you are looking for an office-based or remote engineering role, please do not apply.
3. Schedule: Assignment-based schedule with overtime and weekend flexibility as required by project timelines.
4. Work Authorization: Applicants must already possess valid US work authorization. Work visas/sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Field Electrical Services Engineer, you will be the face of Sieyuan on the ground, delivering high-end integrated solutions, parts, and technical services to our commercial and industrial power customers. You will play a vital role in building sustainable, reliable power grids and helping shape a greener world for future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Execute on-site installation, secondary wiring checks, commissioning, and power transmission of substation/power equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOP). Ensure all milestones are achieved safely and on schedule.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary tier-1 technical contact on project sites. Respond promptly to customer requests, diagnose electrical/mechanical faults, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust solutions to ensure stable equipment operation.
- Customer Training & Satisfaction: Provide professional, hands-on guidance to local clients regarding daily equipment operations, safety, and routine maintenance. Deliver an exceptional user experience to maximize long-term customer satisfaction.
- Site Management & Collaboration: Adhere strictly to local on-site safety regulations. Manage project tools and test instruments carefully, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-regional project dispatchers for off-site business trips.
Required Qualifications
1. Education: College degree/Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field. (Experience in substation commissioning research/projects is a strong plus).
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering. Direct experience in substation maintenance, high/medium voltage industrial equipment commissioning, power grid coordination, or field team management is highly preferred.
3. Language: Conversational English proficiency is required to communicate effecti vely with our international engineering and project teams. (Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.)
4. Soft Skills: Exceptional sense of responsibility, strong safety awareness, excellent client-facing communication skills, and a strong capability to work independently under pressure.
5. Flexibility: Complete readiness to accept frequent local and national travel to project sites.
Compensation & Benefits
1. Base Salary: $100,000 ~ $150,000 Gross Annual Pay (Commensurate with experience).
2. Travel Expenses: Company-reimbursed transport (flights, trains, etc.) and hotel accommodations in accordance with the corporate travel policy.
3. Daily Meal Allowance: A tax-exclusive meal allowance provided during active field assignments.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
