The Insurance Project Manager will work with property owners and insurance professionals. You will scope projects and prepare timely and accurate estimates. The key to success in this department is to build strong relationships with contractors, remodelers, property managers, designers, etc. The Project Manager/Estimator must be detail oriented; have strong customer relations skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet schedules; and knowledge of all material requirements and estimating processes to complete a flooring project.
The responsibilities of an Estimator include:
· Estimating and providing quotes for flooring projects
· Ability to measure and create floor plans
· Ability to use flooring and insurance estimating software
· Preliminary site visits
· Assessment of existing conditions
· Create area take-offs for different material types
· Contact material suppliers for material cost and availability
· Cost Out Job
· Calculate costs for upgrade product installations and custom designs
· Prioritizing multiple immediate tasks and coordinating with other team members to meet the needs and expectations of clients;
The qualifications for this position are as follows:
· Strong math and analytical skills
· Proficient with computers and software
· Possess professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills
· Must have valid driver license
· Must pass a background check and provide driving record
· Must have personal transportation
