Position Summary
Landall Restoration is seeking a motivated and dependable Fire Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This is a multi-skilled restoration position responsible for responding to fire, smoke, water, mold, and storm damage losses. The ideal candidate is Upbeat, Resolution-Driven, Hardworking, Customer-Focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service.
Responsibilities
- Perform fire, smoke, and soot damage mitigation services.
- Clean and restore affected structures and contents.
- Complete pack-outs, inventory, and transportation of customer belongings.
- Set up containment areas and protect unaffected portions of the property.
- Water extraction and structural drying
- Remove damaged building materials as directed.
- Perform demolition and debris removal as needed.
- Utilize specialized equipment and restoration products.
- Conduct deodorization and odor removal procedures.
- Document work performed using company software and mobile applications.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and team members.
- Follow IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure job sites.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency service response.
- Respond promptly to after-hours service calls when scheduled for on-call duty.
Qualifications
- Restoration, mitigation, construction, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Water restoration experience is a plus.
- IICRC certifications (FSRT, WRT, ASD) preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to participate in the required rotating on-call schedule.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
