Starlight Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced IDD Residential Operations Manager to lead our Residential Services Program. This leadership role oversees the daily operations and clinical coordination of residential services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive.

As the IDD Residential Operations Manager, you will:

Lead the day-to-day operations and clinical oversight of multiple IDD residential programs.

Supervise Residential Managers and Behavioral Support Professionals (BSPs), providing coaching, accountability, performance evaluations, training oversight, and professional development.

Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Manage employee performance, conduct investigations, and implement progressive disciplinary action when needed.

Ensure compliance with IDD Waiver requirements, state and federal regulations, company policies, licensing standards, and survey readiness through ongoing monitoring and corrective action.

Oversee incident reporting, investigations, documentation, and required regulatory reporting.

Coordinate admissions, discharges, referral assessments, housing placement, and continuity of care with treatment teams, families, guardians, referral sources, and community partners.

Conduct routine residential inspections to ensure homes remain safe, clean, secure, and compliant with environmental, emergency preparedness, and safety standards.

Oversee residential properties, leases, maintenance, repairs, fleet vehicles, and vendor relationships to maintain safe, quality living environments.

Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings while monitoring behavioral trends, consumer outcomes, and rights restrictions.

Review and approve billing documentation when Residential Managers are unavailable.

Provide leadership during crisis situations and participate in a 24/7 leadership on-call rotation with the Director of Operations.

Education & Experience (one of the following):

Bachelor's degree in a human services field with at least two years of experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), mental health, or substance use disorders.

Bachelor's degree in a non-human services field with at least four years of related experience.

Master's degree in a human services field with at least one year of related experience.
-
Licensed behavioral health professional.
Additional Qualifications
-
Credentialed Level II Behavioral Support Professional (BSP), or Level I BSP with at least five years of experience.

Leadership experience in IDD residential services, behavioral health, or a related human services setting.

Strong knowledge of IDD Waiver services, residential operations, regulatory compliance, documentation standards, person-centered care, and crisis response.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.

Ability to obtain or maintain First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Restrictive Interventions certifications.

Ability to travel locally, participate in an on-call rotation, and respond to emergencies outside normal business hours when needed.
