Position Overview
We are seeking a Credit Processing Specialist to support credit and debit request processing while helping maintain strong customer relationships and accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone with credit processing experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple internal teams.
The Credit Processing Specialist will review and process credit requests, verify supporting documentation, determine eligibility based on established guidelines, and work with internal partners to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review credit and debit requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines.
- Gather and verify supporting documentation and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Evaluate requests against established criteria and determine appropriate approval or denial.
- Process approved credit requests and prepare required documentation.
- Submit cases for appropriate levels of authorization while following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for accounts and credit cases.
- Communicate case status and provide timely updates to internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer questions and credit-related issues.
- Support positive customer relationships through timely and professional communication.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to reporting and analysis related to credit processing activities.
- Help support Accounts Receivable goals while minimizing financial risk and maintaining process accuracy.
Qualifications
- Previous credit processing, credit operations, accounts receivable, or related financial experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and make decisions based on established guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and internal partners.
