American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital, requiring Epic EMR experience and NRP certification on night shifts.

Labor & Delivery unit in a 200-bed acute care hospital

Patient ratio of 1:2

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Weekend shifts required

Epic EMR experience required

Floating between all facilities within the state is required and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Block scheduling available at manager's discretion

Free parking available on site

Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted

Current certifications required: BLS and NRP

Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility if previously employed there as permanent staff

Scrubs provided for L&D; RNs on other units wear solid royal blue

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
