Job Description
We are hiring a reliable and motivated Air Duct & Chimney Service Technician to join our team in the Orlando area.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing position with sales involved. You will travel to customers’ homes, inspect their systems, explain any issues you find, recommend appropriate services, and perform approved cleaning and service work.
We are looking for someone who is serious about working, dependable, good with customers, and motivated to earn.
Experience in air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney/fireplace service, HVAC, construction, home improvement, roofing, or in-home sales is preferred. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential appointments throughout Orlando and surrounding areas
- Perform air duct cleaning and related services
- Perform dryer vent cleaning
- Perform chimney and fireplace inspections, cleaning, and basic service work
- Inspect systems and identify legitimate problems or needed services
- Explain findings clearly and professionally to homeowners
- Recommend and sell additional services when appropriate
- Provide customers with estimates for additional work
- Complete approved services professionally and efficiently
- Take before-and-after photos and document completed work
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Keep customers’ homes clean and protected during service
- Communicate with management regarding jobs and customers
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and responsible
- Comfortable driving throughout the Orlando service area
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable talking with homeowners and making sales
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, on ladders, and around rooftops when necessary
- Smartphone and ability to use scheduling, photo, and communication apps
- Previous home-service or sales experience is a plus
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who understands that this position involves both technical work and sales.
You should be able to walk into a customer’s home professionally, inspect the system, recognize problems, explain what needs to be done, and confidently offer the customer the appropriate solution.
Experience in air duct cleaning, HVAC, chimney/fireplace service, dryer vents, roofing, construction, pest control, restoration, or other in-home service sales can be a strong fit for this position.
