Job Summary
We are a busy, family-owned automotive repair shop with a strong reputation for honest work and quality repairs. We're looking for an experienced, dependable mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a friendly, hardworking team. You'll be at the forefront of vehicle repair and maintenance, ensuring our customers' vehicles perform at their best. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of automotive systems, from engines and transmissions to electrical and mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle issues
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, suspension, tune-ups, and engine repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical problems
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly with management
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
- 10+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on domestic and foreign vehicles
- Owns tools/toolbox
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
