We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily distribution operations. This role is vital in ensuring seamless management of wholesale activities, team leadership, inventory control, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily company operations, including sales management, inventory control, warehouse, shipping, and receiving, to ensure smooth business flow.
- Lead, train, and develop company team members to handle the daily operational procedures.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
- Supervise management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Team building, maintain a high level of positive energy among the teams.
- Manage both the office & the warehouse in 3 locations.
- Implement merchandising strategies, pricing, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular inventory management activities such as stock counting, ordering supplies, and controlling shrinkage.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels while ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Utilize management skills to oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, budgeting activities, and administrative functions.
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing needs.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wholesale management or supervision with a strong background in office and warehouse team leadership.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee training & development, and managerial communication.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Experience with recruiting processes including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse employee bases effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with retail sales environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for managing budgets, pricing strategies, and financial transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.
