Job Summary
The Lead Barista plays a key role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position supports management by leading the team during assigned shifts, maintaining high standards of customer service, product quality, and store cleanliness. The Shift Supervisor helps create a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and team members while ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team during shifts to deliver excellent customer service and consistent drink quality.
- Open and/or close the store, following proper cash handling and security procedures.
- Train and coach new and existing team members on recipes, service standards, and operational tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the café and work areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and communicate supply needs to management.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Support store goals by driving efficiency, teamwork, and a positive culture.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar hospitality setting (leadership experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and foster teamwork.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Passion for coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
