At Uvalde Memorial Hospital, every image tells a story and every scan helps guide patient care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team and provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services to patients across our community.
Whether supporting the Emergency Department, outpatient services, or inpatient care, you’ll play a vital role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients while ensuring a positive experience for every individual you serve.
In This Role, You Will:

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.

Position patients accurately to obtain the best diagnostic images possible.

Operate radiology equipment safely and effectively while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Review images for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation.

Maintain complete and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.

Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure imaging areas remain safe and organized.
What We’re Looking For:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required.

Current ARRT certification required.

Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required.

Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent patient care and communication abilities.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.

Previous radiology experience preferred.
