We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department and help shape the future of our organization. This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic engineering leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across departments to deliver world-class custom engineered products.
What You'll Do
As Engineering Manager, you'll provide leadership and direction for our engineering team while ensuring the successful execution of custom elevator projects from concept through production.
You'll:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of engineers and engineering leaders.
- Establish department goals, priorities, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee engineering schedules, resource planning, workload balancing, and project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Project Management, Sales, Field Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership for complex engineering challenges.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards.
- Champion innovation while improving engineering processes, systems, and technology.
- Build and develop the next generation of engineering leaders.
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
- Experience managing engineering teams in a custom manufacturing, engineer-to-order, industrial equipment, construction, elevator, or similar environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Proven success leading process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of engineering design processes, manufacturing operations, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
A Master's degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
