Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, language acquisition, and motor skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Document developmental observations and maintain accurate records of each child's growth and activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and early childhood education principles.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork.
- Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
- Passion for teaching young children and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Relevant coursework or certification in early childhood education is advantageous.
