American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of large hospital experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract in the Miami Valley area.

Hospital-based MRI department
-
Day shifts, 4x8 hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
-
13-week contract
-
May be required to float to other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
-
May have on-call responsibilities
-
Every other holiday coverage is required

Associate degree in Allied Health with a major or area of study in Radiologic Technology
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting; Level 1 trauma experience preferred, Level 2 accepted
-
Current BLS (AHA), ARRT, and ODH certification required
-
GE MRI equipment experience required
-
Travel experience preferred
-
License required if applicable

Must be able to be fitted for an N95 respirator prior to working in the HRRU unit

Independently performs diagnostic MRI procedures utilizing proper techniques and contrast media administration

Administers medications and performs venipuncture within scope of practice and licensure

Coordinates patient flow and department activities

RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be added after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion

Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted for this Radiology position
