Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its litigation team. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong civil litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of the legal process, from case preparation through trial.
Prepare subpoenas for records and witness appearances.
Assist with document production, including Bates stamping, organization, and quality control.
Prepare and manage SharePoint links for document sharing and collaboration.
Manage documents within the DISCO e-discovery platform.
Prepare and track Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Public Records Act (PRA) requests.
Conduct background investigations and factual research in support of litigation matters.
Provide comprehensive trial support, including preparing exhibit lists, witness lists, trial binders, coordinating with vendors, managing trial subpoenas, and assisting with courtroom preparation.
Redact confidential and sensitive information from legal documents.
Research California statutes, codes, and legal authorities.
Conduct PACER and verdict searches as directed by attorneys.
Maintain organized case files and assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation.
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in labor & employment or civil litigation.
Paralegal Certificate required.
Experience providing trial preparation and trial support.
Strong knowledge of California court rules and procedures.
Proficiency with DISCO or similar e-discovery platforms.
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and PACER.
Strong legal research, organizational, and document management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
