Job Summary:
We are an electronics manufacturer seeking a professional Production and Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, assisting with production of LED lights, ensuring production efficiency, and supporting overall operations from production, client success, employee management, sales support and other tasks as necessary. We offer a competitive base pay with profit sharing and commission options available. However, we cannot offer health benefits at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the production and daily operations and assist the COO in overall business operations management
- Monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist in production of LED lights, which may include light electronic assembly, soldering, packaging and shipping.
- Support in Inventory management, budgets and expenses to minimize costs
- Aid in resolving operational issues and conflicts
- Assist in sales support, client success support and overall growth of the organization
Skills:
- Some technical ability and basic engineering
- Strong organizational, independent thinking, problem solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to operate/learn FileMaker Pro
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in operations management is a plus
This will be a developing position. To start, we prefer someone to learn the operation by performing day-to-day tasks of helping produce our products. Then, to manage the daily operations, staff, ensure operational efficiency and assist with business growth. In addition, assist with customer success and growth by being the main contact for customers. Also, there will be an opportunity to assist with customer development, sales and revenue growth, which can lead to commissions and more profit-sharing opportunities. This role requires a lot of self-discipline, passion, problem solving, follow-through, accountability, and flexibility, but also comes with a lot of responsibility, independence, ability to help run a small business, and tons of growth potential.
