Job Description: Shipping, Receiving & Cabinet Builder Associate
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping, Receiving & Cabinet Builder Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, cabinet fabrication, and assembly. Experience with laminate cabinetry, edgebanding, material handling, and shop organization is preferred.
Join a fast-paced environment focused on quality craftsmanship, efficiency, safety, and teamwork. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking, and works well with others. Hours are Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming materials and deliveries
- Prepare, package, and load outgoing orders for shipment
- Assist with inventory tracking and material organization throughout the shop
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry and related components
- Read and follow shop drawings, specifications, and production schedules
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and shop equipment safely
- Perform laminate work, edgebanding, and cabinet component preparation
- Assist with staging materials and coordinating workflow with production staff
- Maintain quality standards throughout fabrication and shipping processes
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe
- Support overall shop operations and daily production needs
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional work ethic
- Follow all shop safety rules and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or cabinet building preferred
- Cabinet shop or woodworking experience preferred
- Laminate cabinetry and edgebanding experience strongly preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the shop
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
