Position Summary
We are seeking an ambitious, customer-focused, and career-oriented individual to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD. This part-time role is essential to the daily operation of our facility, helping customers find the right storage solutions while ensuring the property remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $18.65 per hour
- 1.5% commission on monthly gross revenue collected above the established threshold
- 6.25% commission on all merchandise sales (locks, boxes, packing supplies), paid monthly
- Estimated earning potential of $19.65–$20.65 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the storage facility
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns professionally
- Sell storage units to walk-in, phone, and online customers using company sales techniques
- Prepare leases and complete all rental documentation accurately
- Reduce delinquent accounts through phone calls, text messages, and email follow-up
- Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive property by sweeping hallways, cleaning vacant units, and removing debris
- Ensure the facility remains organized, secure, and ready to serve customers
Qualifications
- Sales experience or a strong sales aptitude
- Passion for customer service and relationship building
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, CRM software, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office
- Previous property management or self-storage experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
