Hendrick Medical Center South offers excellent specialty backup, including gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, spine surgery, general surgery, infectious disease, pulmonology, OB/GYN, wound care, interventional radiology (including procedural support for the emergency department).
Clinical Responsibilities
As a nocturnist, you will...

Manage overnight admissions

Respond to rapid response events and code situations

Serve as a primary admitting physician for the ICU

Round on ICU patients as needed

Average 6-10 admissions per night
Candidates who are comfortable performing bedside procedures are highly preferred.
