Job DescriptionAre you an entrepreneurial pharmacist looking to help build something from the ground up? We are a brand new independent pharmacy opening soon in Monroe, NC! We are seeking a dedicated, licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to manage our initial launch phase on a part-time basis.As we open our doors and build our patient clientele, this role will start with limited part-time hours (approximately 8 to 10 hours per week) with the clear opportunity and expectation to transition into a full-time position as business volume scales. This is a perfect opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a flexible schedule or someone looking to leave their mark on a growing local business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the legal Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) adhering to all North Carolina Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Oversee the safe preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications.
- Establish initial pharmacy workflows, inventory controls, and compliance procedures.
- Provide exceptional counseling and healthcare consultations to our growing customer base.
- Collaborate closely with ownership to optimize operations and support community outreach strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina (Required).
- PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of NC state pharmacy laws and federal DEA regulations.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager is preferred, but motivated candidates ready for leadership are welcome to apply
