CNC Machinist 2nd Shift QUICK HIRE
We are seeking a CNC Machinist with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience to operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment in a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes and other machining equipment.
- Operate manual equipment including drill presses and engine lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
- Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, verniers, ring gages, plug gages, and pin gages.
- Make machine adjustments, including wear and geometry offsets.
- Change tooling, inserts, collets, tool holders, and tool blocks.
- Monitor coolant and oil levels and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Load programs for pre-programmed parts and ensure quality production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with material handling and bar stock preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience operating drill presses and engine lathes.
- Ability to read blueprints and basic CNC programs.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with G-code programming is preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc controls, Mazak, Haas, or Miyano machines is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
