JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
  - Minimum of two (2) years in an accredited college or one (1) year or more in training in an accredited school for Medical Laboratory Technicians, or training in an approved military training program with HHS certification.
- Experience
  - Previous experience in hospital clinical laboratory preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Registry eligible, MLT (ASCP). Current CPR registration.
- Physical
  - This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
  - Occasional sitting, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting. Continuous standing. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional carrying 50 lbs or more. Must be able to see and hear clearly. Must be able to operate the following tools/equipment: ONYX, Vitek, Microscopes, Equipment, Integra, Printers, ACL 100, Axsym, Centrifuges Phlebotomy, HMS Lab Monitor, Vitis, ACT, React System, Keyboard and Monitor.
JOB SUMMARY
- Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care in consultation with a
  Medical Technologist as needed.
