We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead Steward to oversee the cleanliness, organization, and overall maintenance of our facility’s dining and hospitality areas. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, laundry, and public spaces.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of custodial staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to foster a productive team environment.
- Enforce safety regulations and proper cleaning procedures in compliance with health standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of all facilities.
- Train new team members on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within hospitality, hotel, or industrial settings.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience with a focus on staff supervision.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with established safety regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
