Infant/toddler assistant
Duties
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Monitor and assess each child's development and provide individualized support as needed.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom and materials.
Skills:
- Experience in babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings.
- Strong behavior management skills to create a structured learning environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to provide nurturing care to young children.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for children.
- Understanding of toddler care needs and development milestones.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
Applicant must meet the ECECD requirement of 18 years old.
