Job Overview: The Front Desk Worker is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience at our facility. This position involves greeting clients, managing appointments, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and passionate about baseball.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients as they enter the facility and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage client check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for training sessions, lessons, and facility rentals.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly, addressing client inquiries and providing information about our services.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking brochures, promotional materials, snacks, and beverages.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining client records.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Support the coaching staff and other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using computers and familiar with scheduling software.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including occasional days and evenings.
- Passion for baseball and knowledge of the sport is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday
- Open night shift availability
- Occasional weekdays
