Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic and trauma surgical experience for a night-shift contract assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a fast-paced surgical unit supporting high-acuity patients and requires confident clinical skills and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical and ortho-trauma patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active Georgia RN License (verification via Nursys required)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Medical/Surgical or Ortho-Surgical nursing
- Strong orthopedic and trauma surgical skills required
- AHA BLS certification (must be current)
- Prior travel experience required
