We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Technician I to join our production team. This is an entry-level production position ideal for someone who takes pride in building quality products, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to develop technical and manufacturing skills.
Position Summary
The Production Technician I is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing FlowCore products and components according to established procedures and quality standards. This position works closely with other production team members to ensure products are built safely, accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and fluid-handling components according to work instructions, drawings, and established procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other production equipment safely and correctly.
- Perform basic testing and inspection of assembled products and components.
- Verify that completed work meets FlowCore quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and communicate damaged components, quality concerns, assembly issues, or other production problems.
- Follow documented production processes and maintain accurate production records as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly handle and care for tools, equipment, materials, and company property.
- Assist with packaging, material handling, inventory, and other production activities as needed.
- Work cooperatively with production, quality, engineering, and other team members to meet production goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical assembly processes.
- Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and basic technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
Preferred:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, mechanical, electrical, oilfield, agricultural, automotive, or similar hands-on experience.
- Experience reading basic mechanical drawings, diagrams, or work instructions.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, tubing, fittings, pumps, valves, instrumentation, or similar components.
- Experience working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
This position may require:
- Standing and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for assembly and tool operation.
- Bending, reaching, kneeling, and working in various positions.
- Lifting and moving materials, components, and finished products.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
