Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team the growing Service Department at our location in Columbus, OH .
ASE Certification is preferred, but not required. Vander Haag’s offers:

Work in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned shop, complete with overhead hoists and shop equipment. The shop was built brand new in 2023.
All of our repair work is done in the shop. No travel or roadside repairs are required in this role.
At Vander Haag’s, no two days are exactly the same. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of different heavy duty truck makes and models! General duties include:
All types of medium and heavy duty truck repair
Engine diagnostics and overhauls
Drivetrain
Electrical
DOT inspections
PM maintenance
Hydraulic systems
Fabrication
Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. Consistent schedule & overtime. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!
Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will typically range from $25.00 up to $40.00 /hour for qualified candidates. Hourly rate is dependent upon prior experience and qualifications/certifications (e.g., ASE Certifications, etc.).
Tools: Vander Haag’s offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary). We also sell Milwaukee power tools at a discounted price to all of our team members!
