About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator to join our dynamic project team. You will play a pivotal role in driving project success by delivering precise cost projections and comprehensive bid packages for complex infrastructure developments, utilizing advanced software tools to ensure competitive and accurate results.
Responsibilities-
Develop comprehensive project estimates from the ground up, specifically for roadway, site, utility, and bridge construction.

Optimize project outcomes by strategically configuring crews and resource allocations to align with unique site constraints.

Manage the full lifecycle of subcontractor and vendor quote solicitation to ensure accurate cost integration.

Perform high-precision quantity takeoffs across all construction disciplines to support informed decision-making.

Analyze project specifications to identify potential cost drivers and schedule impacts for the bid review committee.

Coordinate the organization of complex bid documentation, including plans, addenda, and formal submission requirements.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in heavy civil construction estimating.

Advanced proficiency in HCSS Estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated expertise in Agtek earthwork software and Adobe Acrobat for document management.

Strong ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proven capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a technical team.

Experience utilizing Google Earth for site analysis and logistical planning.

Strong understanding of DOT database structures and bidding protocols.

Proven track record of managing complex bid bonds and formal submission processes.
