If you have experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver for companies like FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, or Werner, you may be the perfect candidate!
Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? We are immediately hiring Class A CDL Solo Drivers to safely and efficiently handle unassigned regional runs throughout the Midwest.
Schedule :
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Start times vary between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Dispatch/call-out information is typically provided between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
Run Details :
- Unassigned regional runs covering areas including:
- Columbus
- Chicago
- Toledo
- Cincinnati
- Champaign
- And other regional terminals
- Occasional local UA terminal shuttle runs during the night
- Drop & Hook Only – No-Touch Freight
Job Requirements :
- Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last three years
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no accidents or moving violations within the past three years)
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Must complete Background Check, MVR Screening, Clearinghouse login, and Drug Test
- Manual transmission experience preferred; no driving restrictions
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles (and triples where applicable)
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate driver logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays, arrivals, or equipment issues
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
