Administrative & Compliance Assistant
Role Overview: We are looking for a versatile Assistant to manage day-to-day office operations, basic accounting, and government compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can handle everything from Hacienda filings to executive scheduling.
Core Responsibilities
- Government & Compliance: Manage SURI (Hacienda) filings and ensure all local and federal licenses/permits are current.
- Accounting & Payroll: Handle basic bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks; process payroll (nómina) and track expenses.
- Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s agenda, arrange meetings, and handle travel logistics.
- Office Management: Oversee office supplies, maintain a digital/physical filing system, and handle professional correspondence (emails/memos).
- HR Support: Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding documentation.
- Adaptability: Perform additional administrative tasks and receptionist duties as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background as an Administrative Assistant or Bookkeeper.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in QuickBooks, SURI, and MS Office.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting, PR labor laws (for payroll), and government agency protocols.
- Soft Skills: High integrity, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
