Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support and patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform chairside assisting duties including providing support during restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dental treatments.
- Take X-rays using digital imaging systems such as Dentrix Ascend , ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety.
- Maintain infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments and operatory areas.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Manage patient records within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Epic or Dentrix while ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear, professional manner.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and assisting the dental receptionist as needed.
- Ensure the clinic environment adheres to infection control standards and maintains a clean, organized workspace at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive dental care across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures.
- X-Ray digital required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with digital charting and dental software preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
