Overview
Kratos is seeking an experienced Program Control Analyst with at least three years of demonstrated support in program analysis for government contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment. The analyst will also develop and maintain financial models, trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and support timely program decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage program budgets, funding levels, burn rates, and overall financial performance
- Track, analyze, and reconcile expenditures across all cost categories, including labor, materials, travel, ODCs, and subcontracts
- Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs), and monthly financial reports
- Estimate monthly accruals
- Assist in the preparation of program budget forecasts and help maintain project actual variances
- Develop and implement automated reporting tools to enhance efficiency and validate accuracy
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and financial tools utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Office applications
- Serve as a liaison between program management, contracts, procurement, and accounting functions
- Support daily program activities including subcontract oversight, and material and travel processing
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and government contract requirements
Experience and Skills:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in program control, government contracting, or financial analysis
- Experience working with government contracts and familiarity with various contract types (e.g., CPFF, FFP, T&M)
- Advanced capabilities in Costpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and VBA
- Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and reporting automation
