Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Support inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and inventory counts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments
- Use strong communication skills to answer questions, provide product information, and guide customers toward purchase decisions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store cleanliness, safety, and overall positive shopping environment
- Utilize bilingual skills when assisting diverse customer bases to ensure clear communication
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively
