Gardner Products, Inc. was founded in 1976 and located in Rochelle Il. We operate as a job shop in which we manufacture a wide variety of parts and offer support for many local and national companies. We also have our own OEM product line which we support through our job shop.
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to fill a full time Position.
We currently operate Fadal, Okuma, Daewoo/Doosan and Eurotech CNC machinery, MasterCam, G-Code and Okuma software /languages. We perform low volume machining and secondary operations on manual mills, lathes, grinders, saws and drill presses.

Primary responsibilities for CNC Machinist/Programmer
*Programming CNC mills and lathes using MasterCam, G-Code, and Okuma software.
*Being able to program from solid models (Solidworks) as well as 2D prints.
*Develop routing instructions, Interpret blueprints and 2D & 3D models.
*Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes - Programmer and Operator.
*Perform programming and assist in setup for other machine operators.
*Prepare raw parts and deburr completed parts.
*Perform inspection checks of parts to specifications,
*Manage direct and in-direct time efficiently.
*Keep work area clean and safe.
*Perform daily machinery upkeep of chips, coolant, and lubrication.
*Work with and train other employees.
Qualifications for CNC Machinist/Programmer
*Minimum of 3 years experience CNC Machinist/Programmer
* Experience MasterCam and G-Code preferred
*Skilled in general machining and processes
*Excellent math skills, spatial understanding and awareness
*Knowledge of GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
*Experience in manual machining is helpful

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
