The Center for Manufacturing Technology (CMT) is a, private, career & technical advanced manufacturing training facility located in Woburn MA. We provide career and technical education based on industry need to those individuals who are either already employed or seeking training to gain employment in the industry. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time or part time Welding Instructor position(s).
Position Overview:
Title: Welding Instructor
Status: Part-time and Fulltime positions available
Start Date: Immediate
Instructors will teach a range of courses, including but not limited to.
- Blueprint Reading & Metal Fabrication
- Oxygen Acetylene Welding and Oxygen Fuel Cutting
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding & Gas Metal Arc Welding-DC
- Advanced GTAW Non-Ferrous Metals-AC
- Weld Critique & Troubleshooting
Career & technical educational experience not necessary but preferred. Anyone who has worked in the industry with training in the field or apprenticeship training may apply.
The disciplines mentioned above are part of multiple courses. Each instructor will be assigned classes or portions of classes that are best suited to their expertise. We also offer professional development and training for instructors who wish to expand their knowledge base.
