Overview
Job Requirements: Shift Supervisor (Fast Food)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role within the fast food or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in food safety or management are a plus but not required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and local health regulations.
- Ability to train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic inventory management.
- Capable of handling cash, managing registers, and reconciling daily sales.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Open and close the store as scheduled, including completing shift paperwork and cash handling.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in scheduling, inventory counts, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Report to and support the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in achieving operational goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
Availability:
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
