Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and quickly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and ensuring proper food storage.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks like serving customers, food prep, and order fulfillment efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities seamlessly during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment is advantageous; familiarity with grocery store operations or café settings can be beneficial. - Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We try to rotate weekends out. this is an absolute must!
- Able to work alone per labor laws (18+).
