American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a Computerized Tomography unit, working overnight shifts with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting
-
Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
-
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
-
BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
-
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required prior to start
-
One of the following credentials required: ARRT(CT), ARRT in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy, or NMTCB(CT) with CNMT certification

License required if applicable

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Driver's License required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

Perform CT procedures for diagnosis of disease and injury according to radiologist-established protocols

Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately

Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations

Monitor and recommend updates to imaging protocols as warranted

Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
