Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces according to established standards.
- Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as making beds, moving furniture, and lifting heavy items with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Implement hotel emergency procedures efficiently in case of fire, medical emergencies, or other incidents to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Use custodial experience and industrial cleaning techniques for deep cleaning tasks when required, ensuring all areas meet health and hygiene standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and industrial cleaning practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior exposure to hotel emergency procedures ensures readiness for unexpected situations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage custodial responsibilities with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety across multiple areas.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
