Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our preschool classroom. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities tailored to the needs of preschool and toddler-aged students while ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, including Math, language arts, and social studies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Provide individualized support for students with special education needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages positive interactions among students.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom setting.
Experience
- Proven experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, including those with special needs.
- Strong skills in classroom management and effective communication.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices is an advantage.
- Ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences while promoting their overall development.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
