We're a growing New Jersey dessert company making small-batch pistachio cream spreads, chocolate treats, and specialty dessert jars. Everything is handcrafted with premium ingredients in our own kitchen. We're a small, hands-on team that takes pride in quality and cleanliness.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to help with production two days a week. You'll help prepare, assemble, jar, label, and pack our products, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. It's hands-on work in a friendly, fast-moving small-business environment — perfect for someone who enjoys food, works cleanly, and takes pride in getting the details right.
What You'll Do
- Prep ingredients and assemble products following our recipes and portioning guides
- Fill, seal, label, and pack jars and orders accurately
- Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized
- Follow all food-safety and hygiene procedures
- Help receive and organize supplies and inventory
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Clean, organized, and careful with detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable following recipes and instructions consistently
- Prior kitchen, food-production, or food-service experience is a plus (not required)
- A NJ Food Handler's certification is a plus (we can help you obtain one)
- Driver's License is a plus
Schedule
- Part-time, 2 days per week
- Days/hours discussed at interview (some flexibility)
