American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Day shift schedule

Operating Room setting within a hospital environment
-
Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
-
Every other weekend may be required at the request of the department manager or supervisor

Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS required within 30 days of hire

Minimum 3 years of RN experience required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility required

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate

Provides patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing standards

Bachelor's degree preferred

Telemetry experience preferred

Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July

Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments before needing to leave the facility for at least 26 weeks prior to returning
