Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Memory Care Manager to lead our Memory Care building. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a person‑centered environment, understands dementia care deeply, and can maintain regulatory excellence with Texas HHSC standards.
Duties
- Lead daily operations of the Memory Care neighborhood with a hands‑on, supportive leadership style.
- Ensure high‑quality care aligned with individualized service plans (ISPs) and physician orders.
- Oversee Med Techs and caregivers, including training, delegation, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain HHSC compliance, documentation accuracy, and incident reporting standards.
- Conduct assessments, monitor changes of condition, and coordinate with families and providers.
- Create and oversee meaningful engagement programming tailored to cognitive levels.
- Build strong relationships with families through communication, care conferences, and support.
- Partner with the Executive Director and Director of Operations on audits, staffing, and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long‑term care (2–3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and Texas ALF/MC regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support staff.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- CNA, CMA, LVN, or RN preferred (not required depending on community structure).
- Must meet all Texas ALF training requirements and pass background checks.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
